Never can there be a boring moment

I'm on Spring Break!! While it's exciting to be away from school for awhile and get to spend some time with family and close friends, I do miss Courtney and everybody at Greer First. Oh well, I get to spend all summer with them so I will enjoy the time in Coats as much as I can.

I had to take my computer to Bust Buy today. The guy from the Geek Squad (I really want one of their outfits and that cool button on their ties) told me that it's probably my motherboard. Oh the joys of computer. Praise the Lord for 3 year warranties.

I'm really excited about tomorrow. Not because I have to have my braces looked at, but because I get to eat dinner with one of my great friends Justin. I will have to update you on that tomorrow night in a different blog post.

Death seems to be present everywhere I look. How odd is it that human death is surrounding me at the same time that nature is coming back to life. I ponder on all of this because I got an e-mail from Tiffany (Church Receptionist) saying that a church member that Lance and I had visited in the hospital had passed away. Also, a dear family friend's father passed away about an hour after I got home for Spring Break. May the Lord of peace grant that peace to these loved ones today and in the days to come.

On my drive home on Monday the Lord was just speaking a few words into my heart. I kept hearing Him say "I am ALIVE and ACTIVE." I am looking forward to finding out what the Lord wants to teach me with those two words. It's just amazing to sit back and remember that the Lord is active in the world and in our lives even when we don't see or feel Him.

Greer lost in the State Championship, if anybody cares. They played a great game and had an amazing season. I'm very proud of the guys that I know on the team and I look forward to seeing what they will do next year.

Sunday, Rick talked about Christ's time in the garden before His betrayal. It was good!!

The West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptist keeps changing staff people. I saw in the newsletter that one of the ladies at the convention will be leaving. I guess I will have to hurry up and get up there if I want anything in West Virginia to be the same as when I left.

Just a last little thought on ministry. We, as humans, allow our sin to get in the way too often and that makes ministry a little more complicated than it really is.

Don't move, until God tells you to move. And when God tells you to move, you move and you don't wait to see if others are going to like it or not.

Well, I have had enough random thoughts for today. I am so very hungry so I am going to find me food and enjoy the night.

I'll post tomorrow night about my visit with Justin and maybe some more stuff.

Until then, love God and love people. That's all that really matters.
